Associate Project Manager Level 4 (V1.3)
Overview
End-Point Assessment (EPA) is the final assessment for an apprentice. An apprentice cannot achieve their apprenticeship without passing the End-Point Assessment.

EPA is an opportunity for an apprentice to showcase what they have learnt during their apprenticeship for an Associate Project Manager. This assessment includes a presentation and professional discussion.

The End-Point Assessment for Associate Project Manager Level 4 can be carried our remotely or face-to-face.

Gateway
Gateway requirements for an Associate Project Manager Level 4 apprentice includes:

Evidence the apprentice has achieved Level 2 maths and English

Evidence the apprentice has gained a qualification at International Project Management Level D or APM Project Management Qualification

Have a minimum of 12 months on programme

Assessment Methods
Presentation and Professional Discussion
The apprentice will deliver a presentation to a panel of at least 2 members, this panel includes a representative from the apprentice’s employer or the training provider, it will additionally include the End-Point Assessor from NQual.

The presentation and portfolio of evidence must be submitted at least 30 days prior to assessment to allow the panel to develop questions.
​
The presentation and discussion will last around 1 hour.​

Results
Apprentices will achieve an overall pass Distinction, Merit, Pass or Fail for their End-Point Assessment. The maximum mark available is 75. Those apprentices scoring 45-55 will achieve a minimum Pass.
​
These results will be communicated within 10 days of assessment. Should a learner need to retake either or both assessment methods this will take place within 6 months of initial assessment.
