Supporting information such as testimonials and screenshots may be included but they will not be taken or accepted towards the word count.
Professional Discussion
The Professional Discussion is a two-way structured discussion between the apprentice and the Independent End-Point Assessor. This will take place no later than 8 weeks after being approved for Gateway. Detail on criteria covered can be found within our support pack.
The Professional Discussion will last for 45-60 minutes and will be carried out online unless otherwise agreed at Gateway.
Results
Results will be communicated within 10 working days of the final assessment.
If an apprentice Fails one or more component, they will be offered the opportunity to re-sit / re-take the component(s). It is then up to the apprentice’s employer how many attempts an apprentice is given.
In the case of the Project Assignment, apprentices may choose to revisit their original Project Assignment brief or choose a new one for resubmission.
Where any assessment method must be re-sat or re-taken, there will be no restriction on the EPA grade. Re-sits and re-takes are not offered to an apprentice wishing to move from Pass.
