At NQual, we believe in nurturing talent, fostering growth, and providing meaningful career pathways. One shining example of this is our Business Administration Apprentice, Jordan Warwick. Since joining us in June 2024, Jordan has quickly become an invaluable member of our team, demonstrating enthusiasm, efficiency, and a fantastic sense of humour that brightens our workplace.
Jordan’s Role and Contribution
Jordan is currently undertaking a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. In her role, she has immersed herself in various aspects of business administration, from processing learner Gateways and handling queries to completing knowledge tests and liaising with training providers. Her efficiency, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities have made her an integral part of the team.
According to Ashley Robertson, Managing Director of NQual, “Jordan has become a vital member of the team. She is incredibly supportive to both her colleagues and the wider team, including assisting in our marketing efforts. Her work is not only efficient but also adds a unique touch of humour that brings positivity to the workplace.”
Excelling in Projects
Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, Jordan is leading a significant project aimed at improving the onboarding process for new employees and associates. This project involves developing an effective induction programme, including timetabling, policy overviews, staff handbooks, and essential training components. Her structured approach and commitment to excellence are ensuring that this project will have a lasting impact on how NQual welcomes and integrates new team members.
“This is something we’ve been eager to improve, and Jordan’s leadership on this project is invaluable. It’s a testament to her ability to take initiative and drive meaningful change,” added Ashley.
The Apprenticeship Experience
Jordan’s journey into the apprenticeship began with a positive interview experience with Lauren and Ashleigh, which solidified her decision to join NQual. Previously working in retail, she sought a more fulfilling career path and found the perfect fit in business administration. She particularly enjoys the practical work aspect of her apprenticeship over the academic elements, which she completes through structured off-the-job training at the office.
Her apprenticeship is structured to provide a blend of real-world experience and formal training, preparing her for the End-Point Assessment (EPA). This assessment includes a knowledge test, a portfolio-based interview, and a project presentation—areas where Jordan’s skills and dedication will undoubtedly shine.
Future Progression and Growth
Jordan’s potential is clear, and her future at NQual looks bright. She has already expressed an interest in progressing into management roles, and plans are in place for her to move onto the Team Leader apprenticeship once she completes her current programme.
Ashley Robertson shared, “Taking on an apprentice allows us to mould individuals in line with our organisational values. Jordan has already demonstrated outstanding qualities, and we can see her progressing into leadership roles within the next few years. She’s got the drive, the capability, and the mindset to go far.”
Final Thoughts
Jordan Warwick embodies the success and impact of apprenticeships, demonstrating how hard work, dedication, and a supportive work environment can help individuals thrive. Her contributions to NQual go beyond administration—she is a valued colleague, a key team player, and a future leader in the making.
We are incredibly proud of Jordan’s achievements so far and look forward to seeing her continue to excel. Her journey is a testament to the power of apprenticeships in shaping careers and strengthening organisations. Well done, Jordan—your NQual family is cheering you on every step of the way!
