What Documents Do I Need to Submit for NQual Centre Approval?
Whether you are a UK training provider, international training organisation, college, employer provider, or independent training provider, obtaining NQual Centre Approval begins with demonstrating that your organisation has the policies, procedures, and governance structures needed to deliver high-quality learning programmes.
Providing the correct documentation helps NQual evaluate your organisation's readiness to deliver qualifications and endorsed programmes while protecting learners and maintaining quality standards.
Essential Policies and Procedures Required for Your Initial Centre Application
As part of the Centre Approval process, providers are required to submit copies of key organisational policies and procedures.
These include:
Conflict of Interest Policy.
Data Protection Policy.
Reasonable Adjustments Policy.
Equality and Diversity Policy.
Malpractice and Maladministration Policy.
Appeals and Complaints Procedure.
Health and Safety Policy.
Safeguarding Policy.
Quality Assurance Policy.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy.
NQual also requests a copy of your most recent External Quality Assurance (EQA) report, where available.
Why Are These Policies Important?
These documents allow NQual to understand:
Learner Protection
Policies such as safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, and reasonable adjustments demonstrate your commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and accessible learning environment.
Quality Assurance
Quality assurance, malpractice, appeals, complaints, and conflict of interest procedures help ensure that learners receive fair and consistent outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance
Data protection policies demonstrate how learner information is managed securely, while recognition of prior learning policies shows how previous achievements are considered appropriately.
Organisational Readiness
Together, these documents provide assurance that your organisation has established systems and procedures capable of supporting learner success and programme delivery.
Additional Supporting Information
Providers are also asked to supply supporting information relating to:
Previous delivery experience.
Sector expertise.
Staffing and resources.
Development plans.
Curriculum offer.
Existing employer partnerships.
Other awarding organisations currently worked with.
This information helps demonstrate organisational capacity and experience.
