Overview

This qualification is designed to provide learners with an awareness of safeguarding children and young people. It will provide an understanding of legislation and regulations, and how to identify, respond and report safeguarding concerns.

​

This qualification covers awareness of safeguarding for all children and young people and can be used to increase safeguarding in a variety of workplaces.

​

This qualification will prepare learners for employment and/or progression by improving their knowledge of safeguarding children and young people.

​
